“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” fever has hit Metro Manila’s train systems! The two lines of the Light Rail Transit (LRT-1 and LRT-2) currently feature trains that come with full wraps showing Brand New Day’s banner poster, featuring characters including everyone’s favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Hulk and members of The Hand.

LRT-1 services Metro Manila commuters from north to south/south to north, from Fernando Poe Jr. station (formerly Roosevelt) to Dr. Santos (formerly Sucat). It has 25 stations that feature stops near some of the metro’s popular universities, including De La Salle University and De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (Vito Cruz), University of the Philippines Manila (Pedro Gil), Adamson University (United Nations), Mapúa University and Colegio de San Juan de Letran (Central Terminal). LRT-1 is also convenient for visiting popular tourist spots including Rizal Park, Intramuros and the Pasig River Esplanade.
LRT-2 runs east to west/west to east, servicing commuters coming from the stretch covering Recto up to Antipolo. It has 13 stations, including busy stops at Recto (with transfer to LRT-1 Doroteo Jose station), Araneta Center-Cubao (with transfer to the Metro Rail Transit MRT-3 line) and Katipunan (near Ateneo De Manila University and University of the Philippines Diliman).

It’s a brand new day for Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him – and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him – sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.
“It’s quite emotional but it’s also a lot of fun,” director Cretton teases about the film.
