Willie Revillame, the charismatic host of WilTime BigTime, celebrated the show’s first anniversary last Saturday, October 22, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum. The grand event was attended by thousands of people who came from all over the country to share a fun-filled night with Willie.
As a way of giving back to his loyal fanbase, Willie gave out amazing prizes worth Php 50,000, Php 500,000, and Php 1,000,000.
To add to Willie’s success, PMPC Star Awards for Music 2011 bestowed him three recognitions at the recently concluded awards night held at the Ateneo de Manila University’s Lee Irwin Theater last October 16. Willie swept the novelty category by taking home the trophy for Novelty Artist of the Year and Novelty Album of the Year for “Willing Willie”while his upbeat and catchy song “Tantaran” bagged the prize for Novelty Song of the Year.His album released early this year and produced by Viva Records features other danceable hits like “Ikembot Mo.”
WilTime BigTime fans surely enjoyed dancing to his fun novelty hits on Saturday’s event.
