Social media personality Boss Toyo publicly admitted that he had misjudged veteran television host Willie Revillame, following a recent three-day interaction that changed his perspective.

In a candid Facebook post, Boss Toyo shared a photo of himself with Revillame, appearing deep in conversation, and opened his message with a striking admission:
“Sobrang nagkamali ako sa taong ’to.”
He explained that his earlier opinion of Revillame was shaped largely by what he had seen on social media.
However, after spending several days with the veteran host, Toyo said he gained a very different understanding—not from Revillame himself, but from the people around him.
According to Toyo, one of the things that stood out most was Revillame’s quiet generosity.
Toyo also addressed long-standing questions surrounding Revillame’s success, saying he was impressed by stories of achievements earned without wrongdoing.
When asked how he deals with bashers, Toyo recalled Revillame’s straightforward response.
Toyo also acknowledged that Revillame can be strict at work, but said this stems from discipline rather than ego.
Reflecting on their conversation, Toyo shared Revillame’s reminder about human imperfection.
He concluded his post with gratitude and humility.
Namali ako at tinanggap niya ’yon.
The post comes as Revillame makes his return to game shows through ‘Wilyonaryo’, which premiered online on January 25 ahead of a possible television run.

Revillame previously shared that he complied with all required procedures for the show, emphasizing that his comeback to daily hosting remains anchored in the same purpose that defined his long-standing career—helping others while entertaining audiences.
