It’s not the first time that Marian Rivera and Katrina Halili have had a dispute. 5 years ago the pair were working together on “Marimar,” similar issues occurred. This time, it was brought out into social networking site, Twitter. These two are currently working together on GMA7’s “My Beloved.”
Although nothing directly has been stated these comments were made by Katrina through her Twitter account:
It could just be a bit of venting at the same time why don’t they just talk to each other they are obviously in close proximity? Is there really an issue between them or just a bit of media speculation for free publicity?
Here’s Popoy Caritativo’s (Marian’s Manager) official statement before he left to US:
“As far as Marian is concerned, masaya ang environment sa taping. If Katrina is always in a bad mood because of her pregnancy at ayaw niyang nakikita ang director, any of the staff or co-stars niya, and she wants to quit the show, she should just talk to management about it like any professional actor would do.”
I understand why Marian remains silent despite of these issues. I believe that now is not yet the right time. With all the media frenzy baka lalong makaladkad na naman ang pangalan niya. In a way, Marian’s silence has protected her from too much public scrutiny as she tries make her day to day life as “normal” as possible.
If you don’t explain yourself, they won’t stop.
If you explain yourself, they also won’t stop.
In other words, either you speak up for yourself or not, they would still hate you. It’s up to you if you want to be heard or not to be heard. I still believe, there are still people out there who might not directly support Marian but have higher levels of understanding than the haters.

the question is… who is really the “the insecure one” between the two of them. i believe katrina has long been insecure with what marian has – a loyal fan base, popularity, natural beauty etc. katrina has always been and will always be insecure because marian is a league of her own. Marian Rivera is Marian Rivera.

Right.. And why she’s been into war with other female actresses like heart, bella, rhian, karyllle.. besides katrina..
