‘Bistado’ story helped call center agents get proper compensations and benefits

Call center agent “Arnel,” alongside his colleagues, finally got their long overdue compensations from the company they are working for after “Pinoy True Stories: Bistado” aired a story three weeks ago on how their employer violated their rights as employees.

“Arnel” revealed to anchor Julius Babao how their salaries were always delayed and how their Social Security System (SSS) contributions were not properly filed or deposited to the said government agency thereby disabling them to file for loans.

Julius confronted the call center management, who admitted their faults and shortcomings to their agents. They also promised to address their concerns as soon as possible.

With this, Investigative program “Pinoy True Stories: Bistado” proved that it not only calls the attention of authorities regarding anomalies and wrongdoings, but it also moves them to action to help solve the problems.
Watch how “Arnel” and other call center agents succeeded in their goal to fight for their rights as employees this Monday (Apr 29) in “Pinoy True Stories: Bistado,” after “Glory Jane” in ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold. For updates on the program, visit www.abs-cbnnews.com/currentaffairs or follow @PinoyTruStories on Twitter.

Watch the other “Pinoy True Stories” produced by ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs, such as “Engkwentro” with Karen Davila every Tuesday, “Saklolo” with Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor every Wednesday, “Demandahan” with Anthony Taberna every Thursday, and “Hiwaga” with Atom Araullo every Friday.
