Robredo died August 18 last year in a plane crash off the shores of Masbate Island. Award-winning actor Jericho Rosales will play Robredo, while Kapamilya actress Kaye Abad will portray Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo.
The Raz de la Torre-directed “MMK” episode will share Robredo’s simple life as a loving husband, dedicated father, and efficient public servant.
Also part of the ‘Jesse Robredo Story’ in “MMK” are Yogo Singh, Spanky Manikan, Alyanna Angeles, Nikki Bagaporo, Trina Legaspi, and Richard Quan. The episode was researched by Alexandra Mae Martin and written by Joan Habana and Arah Jell Badayos.
