Kapamilya star Xian Lim surprised Kapuso star Bea Binene by sending her a bouquet of flowers days after he apologized for the controversy created by his ‘joke’ on a Kim Chui impersonator during the live airing of “Banana Nite” last January 31.
In the said episode, Xian repeatedly referred to Kim Chiu impersonator Charmae Viking, who surprised the actor on stage during a song number, as “Bea Binene.” Netizens immediately criticized the actor for the joke, some saying his comment was ‘insensitive’ and ‘offensive.’
