After coming up with over 11 edition of Starbucks Cards, Starbucks Philippines officially released the Philippine Edition Card to celebrate the Starbucks Card’s 1st year in the country. Designed by a Filipino, the new Starbucks Card was able to bring together different aspects of Philippine culture in one image – from the national bird Philippine Eagle to the Philippine flag lying on a traditional “banig” (mat) background. And finally, the name “Pilipinas” printed with gold, which is the local equivalent of “Philippines“.
