Award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose will star in the Halloween episode of ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (November 1). She will play the role of Susan, a manghihilot who frequently helps women get rid of the baby in their wombs.
Because the act of abortion gives her so much guilt, Susan would light a candle and offer prayers to the souls of the unborn children she killed. However, when one of her patients, Laila (to be played by Precious Lara Quigaman) ended up dead, Susan started seeing things she never imagined were possible.
How can Susan appease the soul of Laila whose ghost continues to haunt her to seek justice?
Also part of the upcoming Halloween episode are Liza Lorena, Joem Bascon, Richard Quan, Crispin Pineda, and Lui Manansala. It is directed by Jerry Sineneng and written by Shugo Praico. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos and creative manager Mel Mendoza-del Rosario.
