27th Awit Awards Complete List of Winners

Every year, PARI (The Philippine Association of the Record Industry Inc.) recognizes Filipino performing artists and people behind the making of  Filipino recorded music. One of the objectives of PARI is to promote the Philippine music industry, artistry and legacy.

Once again, Original Pinoy Music(OPM) dominated the music industry in the recent 27th Awit Awards held in Newport Performing Arts Theater last Friday, December 12, 2014.

From the creative team to the interpreter, everyone was recognized from their hard work and intelligence but only three(3) artists stood out in the said event. With the exemption of Abra’s very energetic performance of “Gayuma”.

Here are the complete list of winners for 27th Awit Awards 2014 per category:

TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Best Musical Arrangement – song title “Hele Ni Inay” by Regine Velasquez

Best Vocal Arrangement – song title “Darating Din” by KZ Tandingan

Best Engineered Recording – song title “Never Will I Forget” by Urbandub

CREATIVITY AWARDS

Best Song Written for Movie/TV/Stage Play – song title “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush mo” by Zia Quizon

Best Regional Recording – song title “Taldawa” by Edward & “Aba Pakakalale” by Andy Alvis

Best R&B Recording – song title “Ikot-Ikot” by Sarah Geronimo

Best Jazz Recording – song title “Darating Din” by KZ Tandingan

Best Rap Recording – song title “Magda” by Gloc-9 feat. Rico Blanco
