Born as Titus John Monterde, he is originally from Cagayan De Oro. Radio personality and TV host to local ABS-CBN show, this handsome singer surely knows how to play his game right on the stage. Already born with good charms to capture the audience, he also has a knack of bringing instant jokes on stage to lighten up the crowd.

TJ started singing at the very young age of four (4) years old. And he mostly in good mood writing songs when raining. What magical most of his journey is meeting the love of his life, the 2012 X-Factor Philippines grand winner KZ Tandingan. They started as “good barkada” with the same interests that really get along well. Opposite to what his type of girl, he was captured by KZ’s eyes and the girl’s personality. “swak kami. Nagji-jive talaga kami,” TJ said.
Recently, a good friend of his Marcelo Santos III uploaded one of TJ’s covers of Thinking Out Loud together with her sister, Roxinne Monterde. It goes viral in an instant. As of writing, it has 1, 557, 717 views and 38, 469 shares.

TJ Monterde already released his debut album entitled “Ikaw at Ako” under Polyeast And Galaxy Records in 2013. He is now working on his second album that will be released soon.
