If I were a Kapuso, I would place my money on the movies they make, TV shows they are in, products they endorse, concerts they hold and magazines they pose for.
Here are the Seven Up-and-Upcoming Queens of GMA Network
1. Barbie Forteza – She is currently the Tween Queen of GMA. Being honed not just as a teen idol but a long time serious actress. She has won awards from credible award-giving bodies at a young age. With legions of fans, Barbie is here to stay. She is out to prove that talent will outlast superficial beauty.
2. Julie Anne San Jose – A Diamond record awardee, a successful MOA Arena concert performer and a social media giant, there is no denying that this talented young lady is more than what meets the eye. She is now being eyed by an International producer to record new songs. This would require a change of image but Japs doesn’t seem to faze. She is in it to win it!
3. Janine Guterrez – A charming face, a model-like aura and has a talent in acting to boost. There’s no stopping this in-demand covergirl. She has graced almost all top fashion magazines in the country multiple times. She has a strong following and support from her mother studio. What could possibly go wrong? Janine is the one to watch out for.
4. Bianca Umali – Endorsements, jampacked mall shows, hit TV series, screaming fans and has a good-looking partner. What else could a 15-year old girl ask for? Bianca is having the time of her life and she is just starting. We can’t wait what could the future possibly bring to this teen superstar-in-the-making. We patiently await, B.
5. Gabbi Garcia – Blessed with good showbiz breaks, there’s no denying that she has gotten the attention of GMA-7’s top executives. She is being honed as the network’s next important star. She is ready for the limelight. She sings, she dances, and her acting is promising. She has the ‘IT’ girl looks plus a charisma that grows on you.
6. Andrea Torres – A body of a sexy vixen, a goddess is how they describe Andrea. Ooziing with sex appeal, she is definitely every man’s fantasy. She is slowly transitioning from local to an Asian star as she is shooting her first Asian series in Cambodia. Now we can say, her appeal is very Asian. We wish her luck.
7. Kylie Padilla – With a Superstar dad, we can’t help but to think she is on her way to stardom. Kylie has been seen dancing, singing, acting and even make up tutorial on Youtube. She has starred in her own primetime series and now she is shooting an all-star cast TV show that will showcase her acting prowess, again.
They are GMA’s best bets this 2015. More are to be expected from these GMA Princesses as they cross Princesshood to Queenship. We will be waiting and watching.
