In the film ‘Stars Versus Me’ the Maris Racal and Manolo Pedrosa tandem was born. Both stars aren’t exempted from being asked if they are attracted to each other. The two stars became instant household names when they were housemates in the famous blue and yellow-colored Pinoy Big Brother house back in its All-In edition. They became friends, but not-too close to each other. Pedrosa had a mutual admiration with another girl-housemate, Nichole Baranda, while Racal was close to the said season’s grand winner—Daniel Matsunaga.
Little they did know that a love team is already brewing as soon as they are out of the much-celebrated house, famous for Filipinos to not just to get glued, but rather pry on the housemates’ stories. And that’s exactly what happened to the two stars of ‘Stars Versus Me’—Racal and Pedrosa, which eventually made the latter being vocal about his attraction toward the former.
Racal will play as a girl who believes in the horoscope after she was influenced by her mother. That belief will lead her to Pedrosa, who believes in the astrology as well. What are the stars telling these two rising stars? Do they believe in horoscope?
“Sa horoscope po, bihira lang ako nagbabasa. Pero binabasa ko yung zodiac sign ko (Virgo). Minsan nafla-flatter ako kapag may mga compliment about sa Virgo na unique about sa kanila. At sa horoscope partly kasi na-eexcite din ako sa mga mangyayari sa akin,” Maris shared.
Pedrosa, on the other hand, didn’t believe in horoscope, but he finds it very interesting, especially when he reads it on Twitter. He also shared that he never tried making “pahula”. He is more comfortable in taking his mother’s advices. Now he wished on the stars. Instead, he is always praying to God the bless him with good and happy life.
Do they see changes from each other since they went out of the PBB house?
Manolo said, “Wala naman. Mas maganda kasi sobrang comfortable na kami. During the shooting of the movie madali lang yung throwing of lines, mas natural yung pag-uusap namin sa movie. As of now we are getting closer.”
“Sa PBB close na talaga kami ni Manolo. Ngayong nasa labas, closer. Mas nakilala ko siya ng bongga. Nakilala ko siya as Manolo, kung ano yung normal life nya,” Maris stated.
Is Manolo attracted to Maris?
“Opo, nacu-cute-an po ako kay Maris. Malalim po yung friendship naming dalawa ngayon.”
There is nothing wrong in getting attracted to someone. But how you deal with it is another story. In Manolo’s case, he is just a normal kid appreciating beauty in front of him. In fairness to the lad, he is well-focused on what he wants in life. And that is to work hard and do the best in everything.
