Speculations surfaced that GMA Network Inc. chairman Felipe Gozon is currently down in the dumps due to “Starstruck” Season 6 recorded ratings, according to Hataw tabloid.
In it’s pilot episode on September 7, 2015, the artista-based search recorded a rating of 13.0% over it’s rival program “Pasion De Amor” (PSA) that got 16.9% based on AGB Nielsen NUTAM ratings.
PSA registered high ratings throughout its rival program’s pilot week where it gained 21.0% on Friday, September 11.
Last September 17, “Starstruck” Season 6 secured 20th spot, registering 12.9% rating.
Back in 2003, the first season of the talent competition reached huge popularity and garnered 42.8% on its Final Judgement episode where Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado announced as Ultimate Survivors.
“Starstruck” is hosted by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and actress/host Megan Young. Joining Dantes in panel of judges are Season 1 Ultimate Female Survivor Jennylyn Mercado, Entertainment Guru Joey de Leon and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. It airs every weekdays before “24-Oras”.
