The love team of Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix, commonly known as BiGuel will probably be in a movie with the phenomenal tandem AlDub in 2016, according to Abante.
In a recent interview with Dondon Sermino, Bianca and Miguel said they will star in series titled “Wish I May” which is set to premiere on GMA Network on January 18, 2016. It will be one of the program offerings for the network’s Afternoon Prime Block.
Both Bianca and Miguel are very excited with the new project and said that they will tackle more mature roles in the new series. Miguel will play the role of Tristan Costales while Bianca Umali will take on the role of Carina Natividad.
BiGuel earlier starred in a primetime teleserye titled “Once Upon a Kiss” which premiered on January 5 this year. The series lasted for 4 months and had a total of 83 episodes during its entire run.
During the course of the interview, BiGuel revealed that they will be part of a good movie project slated for release next year. Although the BiGuel love team did not want to give details about it, Sermino said that he heard BiGuel will be part of an AlDub movie which will reportedly be directed by Mike Tuviera.
Bianca and Miguel gave no confirmation about this rumor, they just said they are very excited for the upcoming movie that they will be part of.
Whether they join an AlDub movie or not, one thing is assured, GMA Network is obviously pushing the BiGuel love team to more prominence. With another teleserye and a movie in the works, GMA is gearing up the two to become one of their major love teams. That’s why, Bianca and Miguel are thankful for the opportunities given to them by the Kapuso Network.
