Filipino fans yelled when our very own Miss Universe bet Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach finally bagged the crown after 42 long years of waiting.

Yes! We waited for 4 decades for this win, which also became epic and controversial when host Steve Harry announced the wrong winner of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant and the crowd watched in heartbreak and horror as the crown had to be removed from the head of one contestant and placed on another. Harvey then revealed it was was actually Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, who had just been declared first runner up only minutes before, that was the true winner of Miss Universe 2015. It was awful to watch.
