Sad news for the AlDub Nation.
The most-awaited Valentine’s Day concert of the phenomenal AlDub love team is not happening. It was confirmed by the concert producer Joed Serrano himself in a press conference, according to Reggee Bonoan of Bandera (February 3, 2016). Joed revealed that the managers of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza declined to accept his offer.
Last year, it was big news when the 20 million peso Valentine concert was offered to AlDub. It could have been Joed Serrano’s biggest investment for local artists. But due to AlDub’s hectic schedules, their handlers had to let go of Joed Serrano’s offer.
Joed is still cool about how his offer with the management of AlDub turned out. He respects their decision. He understand their reasons about AlDub being so busy, they don’t have time to rehearse for the concert. Ater all, It might ruin the show if Alden and Maine fail to give great performances.
Some AlDub fans are really sad because they will not be able to see AlDub at Smart Araneta this coming February 14. Some even said they have already saved up for the concert.
Don’t worry AlDub fans, if you really want to spend your Valentine’s Day by watching a concert, Joed Serrano is producing a comedy Valentine concert on February 13. He said it is different from other Valentine shows because it is a comedy show.
Joed Serrano offered the “Panahon Ng May Tama #Comi-Kilig” Valentine comedy show to Gladys Guevarra, Boobsie Wonderland, Papa Jack, and Ate Gay. There are rumors that AlDub might be their surprise guest, although Joed Serrano hasn’t confirmed it yet.
