Just like the late Ishmael Bernal’s original hit, “Working Girls”, Viva Films’ upcoming movie “Working Beks” shows the lives of different kinds of gay men and happens in the course of only one day.
One of the characters in the movie is a clos eted gay actor portrayed by Edgar Allan Guzman. In the story, Edgar Allan’ character will be involved in a video sex scandal and he will try to hide in the public eye. Compared in other fields, the showbiz industry has full of rumored closeted gay artists.

During the presscon of Viva Films’ upcoming movie “Working Beks” on Sunday (November 13) afternoon, John Lapus bravely answered that there are more Kapamilya closeted gay personalities compared to GMA Network.
Directed by Chris Martinez, “Working Beks” will open in cinemas on November 23.
