Jaclyn Jose now holds the record of the very first from Southeast Asia to win the best actress award at the 69th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, Southern France. She joins the ranks of past winners including Juliette Binoche, Kirsten Dunst, Sophia Loren, Julianne Moore, Katherine Hepburn and Meryl Streep.
6. Jona (Jonalyn Viray)
Jona is undeniably this year’s busiest singer since she signed with ABS-CBN early this year. She became part of “ASAP” and guested in numerous Kapamilya shows including “GGV” where she reenacted her viral ‘Secret Love Song’ cover.
Jona was chosen to sing the female version of Dionne Warwick’s ‘I’ll Never Love this Way Again,’ the theme song of KathNiel movie “Barcelona: A Love Untold.” This Jona’s rendition won Favorite Song of the Year at this year’s RAWR Awards 2016.
Jona also staged her biggest solo concert titled ‘Queen of the Night’ at the Kia Theatre where she received a lot of positive feedback.

From being one of the housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” in 2014, Joshua Garcia is now an actor. Last MMFF 2016, Joshua received a lot of positive reviews from playing the role of Vince is Star Cinema’s “Vince & Kath & James.” He also starred in KathNiel’s 2016 hit movie “Barcelona: A Love Untold.”
On TV, he’s one of the cast of afternoon drama “The Greatest Love” where he plays the role of Zosimo “Z” Cruz.
He attended our RAWR Awards 2015 as one of our presenters and from then on, we really believe that this guy has a brighter future in showbiz. He just needs proper guidance and direction for his management.
