The Tommy Esguerra and Miho Nishida love team is set to make our January more exciting.
At the BlogCon of the upcoming movie “Foolish Love,” director Joey Lamangan cited the uniqueness of the power couple ToMiho compare to other love teams.
On January 19, Lamangan lauded Esguerra’s and Nishida’s acting in their respective roles. The director also claimed that he didn’t find it difficult to direct most of the scenes with ToMiho because the couple were “naturally” in love on (and off) cam.
“Sila, totoo kasi silang love team. Kasi yung iba, kunwa-kunwarian lang.
“Ito, totoo talagang love team… totoo yung pinapakita nilang pag-ibig sa isa’t-isa. Mas may damdamin yung ginagawa nila kasi totoo silang love team,” he said.
Lamangan repeatedly commended Esguerra and Nishida by saying that the couple don’t need to pretend to be lovers, unlike other love teams.
“Naramdaman kong totoo sila. Totoo silang nag-iibigan.
“Yung palitan nila ng mga dialog, yung pag-kiss nila. Di mo na kailangang sabihin na ‘Kailangan totoo, totoo!’ Susmaryosep, totoo na nga.
“Kaya mas madali [silang i-direct], mas masarap, mas maganda, dahil totoo silang love team.”
