ABS-CBN continues to bring NBA Playoffs games to more Filipino basketball fans with the free TV coverage of the NBA Conference Finals on ABS-CBN Ch.2 and S+A.
Game 2 of The Western Conference Finals at the Oracle Arena is on Wednesday (May 17), LIVE on S+A at 9am, with San Antonio Spurs hoping to level their series against the Golden State Warriors even as star player Kawhi Leonard is doubtful to play due to an ankle injury.
Last Monday (May 15), the Warriors climbed back from a 25-point deficit against the Spurs behind last year’s MVP Stephen Curry and former MVP Kevin Durant right after Leonard landed on Zaza Pachulia’s foot and left the game for good. Games 3 and 4 will be on May 21 and May 23, and if necessary, Games 5 to 7 will be on May 25, 27, and 29, all scheduled to air LIVE on S+A at 9am.
Meanwhile, on the Eastern coast, the Cleveland Cavaliers are set to take on top seed Boston Celtics as they continue to navigate their way back to the Finals for the third straight year.
James and company have coasted through two sweeps in the ongoing Playoffs, crushing the Indiana Pacers and the Toronto Raptors, and are well-rested when they face the pumped-up Celtics, who are fresh from seven gruelling games against the Wizards.
The series opener airs via satellite on ABS-CBN ch.2 on Thursday (May 18) at 9:30am, while Game 2 will be airing at 8:30am LIVE on ABS-CBN ch.2 on May 20 and Games 3 and 4 will be on May 22 and 24 at 9:30am, also on ABS-CBN ch.2
