From the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM People survey covering May 4 – 5, 2016, Kapuso pre afternoon series winning over Kapamilya rival and Kapamilya flagship primetime newscast winning again versus Kapuso counterpart.
GMA Network’s morning teen drama “Trops” is giving the Kimerald teleserye headache after continuously beating “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin”. “Trops” which landed on the number 8th rank on Thursday with 5.1% bumped out “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” from the top 10 with it’s meager 4.0% ratings. Friday, May 5 has the same story as “Trops” climbed even more to the 6th spot with 5.5% leaving the Kimerald series in the 10th spot with 4.3%. Can “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” bounced back? Or is it the reign that “Trops” is waiting long enough?
Over at primetime, ABS-CBN’s flagship news program has overtaken its Kapuso counterpart again. “TV Patrol” on Friday, May 5 moved to the number 4 position with 9.6% ratings beating “24 Oras'” 9.2% at the number 6th spot. On Thursday, May 4, the 2 rival news programs are tied on 5th spot with 8.8% ratings each.
Meanwhile, “Encantadia” remains the most watched primetime program with 12.2% rating on both days, followed by “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” with 10.8% and 11.7% rating respectively.
