“It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda became ecstatic when he took a selfie with “Pambansang Bae” Alden Richards of GMA.
The two crossed paths last night, May 14, at the Ateneo de Manila Henry Lee Irwin Theater for the the 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
According to host’s Instagram story, the Kapuso star was indeed charming! Vice obviously expressed it through her caption.
Chance encounter
Netizens were amused of their encounter as they’re known to share timeslots as rivals on their shows “It’s Showtime” and “Eat Bulaga!”
Vice and Alden both went home with awards. Vice was recognized with the Phenomenal Star award for the movie The Super Parental Guardians, produced by Star Cinema. Alden, on the other hand, was awarded the Prince of Philippine Movies for Imagine You and Me, produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Productions, APT Entertainment, GMA Films, and MEDA Productions.
Alden also received the Male Recording Artist of the Year award.
