Derrick Monasterio has no problem with his gay fans fantasizing his body.
In an interview with entertainment site Pep.ph, the Kapuso actor said that his gay fans are like girls to him. “Masarap din sa feeling, wow! Hahaha! Okay din. Very nakaka-flatter,” he said.
Derrick stressed: “Girls din ang turing ko sa kanila. So, parang girls, critics na babae na hinahangaan ang lalaki.”
He admitted that he considers those malicious comments from his gay fans as a compliment and he does not find it offensive him at all. “Napa-flatter po ako. Never akong na-trauma,” he reiterated.
“Pag nakakabasa ako ng nasty comments na very sexual sa mga gay sites, natutuwa ako,” he confessed.
Aside from that, Derrick also confirmed that he experienced indecent proposals but refused to elaborate it. He then pointed out that he do not entertain those kinds of proposals.
He revealed, “May mga proposal, pero hindi pa rin eh. Siguro kahit alukin ako ng ganun, magiging close pa rin ako sa kanila. He added, “May mga ganyan, may mga offer, pero di ko naman pinapansin. Siguro hindi ko na lang po nirereplayan.”
So far, Derrick is busy with his project through “Mulawin VS Ravena”. He plays the role of Almiro, a Mulawin with 1/4 human breed. He is the beloved son of Alwina and Aguiluz. His mother opted to hide him from Ravenas by leaving him in Hacienda Montenegro. He was then adopted by Lola Consuelo, became a slave of Savanna and befriended by the latter’s son Rafael. He would be called Rodrigo by Lola Consuelo, played by Nova Villa, after her real son’s name.
