In an interview with ABS-CBN News, her onscreen partner revealed Liza’s preparations for the much-awaited movie. Quen said, “Grabe ‘yung diet na ginagawa n’ya; all the things that she’s eating, she has changed her lifestyle na.”
The Kapamilya actor also admitted that he go with Liza when the latter works out at the gym. He confessed, “At least while she’s doing that, sinasamahan n’ya ako. So, sumabay na ako sa training, sa diet and everything. It’s good, it feels good.” He then stressed, “Actually, it’s easier to workout when somebody theres.”
For Liza’s future costume, Enrique is a bit hesitant about the two-piece suit that some people suggest for his rumored girlfriend.
“Two-piece, super revealing. Parang they might change it a little bit. Kasi it supposed to be armor. You won’t get to battle with your underwear, so it’s kind weird,” he emphasized. “But that’s how, that’s how Darna was. So maybe they change it a little bit,” he added.
Meanwhile, according to the report by The Philippine Star, Enrique was tapped as Liza’s leadin man for “Darna”. The Philippine Star was also the first news site that revealed Liza as the one who will play Darna prior to Star Cinema’s official announcement.
