Jesi Corcuera, famous for his coming out stint inside the “Pinoy Big Brother” house, shared his sentiments regarding the recent transition of Jake Zyrus (former Charice Pempengco) from lesbian to a transgender man.
On Sunday, Jake appeared in the episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice” where he opened up about his struggle to become the man he is now.
It has been a big surprise to TV viewers and fans when he revealed that he has indeed transformed into a trans. Charice was known for her big voice that caught the attention of the international crowd.
Despite the criticisms, Jake continues to want to inspire the LGBTQ+ community.
“Ginagawa ko po ito para sa mga tao na hindi kayang gawin pa [ang mga ganitong bagay]. Gusto ko pong maging inspirasyon para sa kanilang lahat.”

Jesi took to Twitter his reaction towards the GGV episode.
According to him, he always feels proud whenever people from the community are embracing who they really are.
He added that he can very much relate to Jake because he also received many negative feedbacks during his PBB days, recalling friends and family branding him a “sinner.”
Jake acknowledged the tweet and replied, “Thanks man!”
