Robi Domingo and Gretchen Ho are back together for the second season of “University Town” (U-Town), where they will feature each UAAP school every Sunday at 1pm on S+A and S+A HD in preparation for the upcoming 80th Season of the country’s premier collegiate league.
After visiting bowling great Paeng Nepomuceno and volleybelles Pau Soriano and Amanda Villanueva in their alma mater the Adamson University, the duo will go to University of the East (UE) this Sunday (July 16) to know more about the school that produced UAAP greats like Robert Jaworksi and James Yap, and current UAAP tennis sensation AJ Lim.
“Robichen” gets to meet the Armada Dance Group, the school’s UAAP streetdance representatives, and the UE Pep Squad, a as they mingle with the UE community and get a closer look at the lives of their student-athletes.
They will also meet the executive vice president of the school, Carmelita Mateo, who gives them a rundown of the school’s colorful history and track record in the fields of accounting and dentistry; and school maintenance staff Del Gonzales, who has endeared herself to UE students and players of different generations.
Robi and Gretchen will also learn more about legendary Red Warriors like Jaworski and fan favorites ike James Yap, Paul Artadi, and Paul Lee, while the voice of ABS-CBN and UE alumnus Peter Musngi mentors a student in his alma mater.
