Angel Locsin comes back at “La Luna Sangre,” clarifies the issue of rivalry against Marian Rivera’s “Super Ma’am”

Angel said that even if the two shows will be “pitted” against each other, it will never be an issue.
They may be competing out with their respective shows once again, but Angel Locsin said she does not consider herself competing with Marian Rivera.
Angel has returned to “La Luna Sangre” this week, coincidentally, Marian Rivera’s “Super Ma’am” will begin airing on September 18 replacing “Mulawin Vs. Ravena”. The two are often pitted against each other by fans and the entertainment media since Angel left GMA Network for ABS-CBN while Marian rose to fame when she played “Marimar” in 2008, a role reportedly meant for Angel.
During her solo presscon for her return in “La Luna Sangre,” Angel shrugged off the idea of having another primetime showdown with the Kapuso Primetime Queen.
When asked if the two talk about ratings of their respective shows, Angel answered, “Hindi!”
“Sa totoo lang, kami, wala naman kaming pakialam sa ganun, dedma kami sa ganun. Basta kami, ginagawa lang namin yung trabaho namin at pareho kaming nandito para makapagpasaya ng tao, yun yung importante sa amin.”
