Newest Kapuso Jason Abalos revealed that his network transfer decision was three years in the making. On his latest interview with PEP.ph, the 32-year old actor shared that it was a tough decision to make.
“Mga three years kong iniisip at ‘pinagdarasal, ‘Gagawin ko ba ‘to or hindi?’ he revealed.
“Para sa akin, ibinigay na lang ni Lord, ‘Sige, ayusin ko ‘yan. Yung mga taong iniwan mo sa kabila, kausapin mo mabuti.’ Hindi siya madaling desisyon para sa akin,” he added.
Jason also shared his excitement working with Rhian Ramos on the upcoming romantic comedy teleserye, “The One That Got Away.” The former Kapamilya wants to explore more on his career as an actor.
“Gusto ko mag-experiment, gusto ko mag-explore, kumbaga, bilang artist. Gusto ko lumawak yung range ng kakayahan ko. Gusto ko tumagal sa industriya, tipong Eddie Garcia, nandiyan pa rin,” he stated.
“Sabihin na natin na karamihan ng leading ladies sa ABS-CBN, nakatrabaho ko. So, panibagong experiment to, panibagong adventure. Alam mo yung excitement, nandun pa rin, e. Kung papaaano mo gagawin nang maganda, kasama yung mga artista sa GMA,” he added.
On the other hand, Jason also answered issues regarding the alleged “indecency” of the actor toward a female netizen. For the first time, Jason was courageous to talked about the issue.
“Medyo sensitive ‘to, kasi inakusahan ako, di ba? he started.
“Kung tutuusin, pinahanap namin yung nag-post. Hindi naman talaga underage yung babae. Tapos, kung tutuusin, puwede nga na kami ang magdemanda. Kaya lang, gusto namin talaga na huwag na lang pansinin,” he added.
Jason insisted that all the accusation toward him is not true and credible.
“Ang gusto naman ng mga ‘yan talaga, mapansin sa social media, e. Kumbaga, hindi na dapat pag-usapan pa. After a day, nawala na yung issue. Lahat ng post nila, tinanggal na rin nila,” he stated.
“Yung mga kabatan ngayon, hindi mo alam kung anong trip sa buhay, e,” he added.
