“Super Ma’am” leading man Matthias Rhoads shared he is single for almost seven years. On his latest interview with PEP.ph, he revealed his reasons why he stays single for a long time.
“I much prefer being single,” he stated.
“For me, if I’m going to be in a relationship with somebody, I have to be thinking about forever. Because it’s a waste of my time to be spending so much time with a girl who doesn’t want [to be with me] for the rest of my life,” the Filipino-American model-actor added.
“So, in that time, I can meet, you know, girls. But it doesn’t have to be, you know… it doesn’t have to be that girlfriend-boyfriend situation. There’s too much there, it takes so much work,” he ended.
Meanwhile, Matthias is currently living on his own here in the Philippines. He shared his experiences being independent so far.
“You know, I’ve only been alone… you know, I think that’s also the number one fear of people—that of being alone,” he stated.
“And as an only child, I’ve had to deal with that. You know, me just having no brothers and sisters. Living alone in New York, so that, being alone in a different country, I actually am invigorated,” he added.
