Amid “breakup” rumors, Kiray Celis came to defend model Kirst Viray over sexuality issues. The Kapamilya actress maintained that she and Kirst are just ‘good friends.’
Even there is no confirmation about their romantic relationship, rumors started to spread like fire that they broke up when they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Kiray even renamed their shared YouTube channel.
However, Kiray and Kirst dissolved floating issue about their break up when they attended Star Magic Ball 2017 together.
“Like we are happy,” Kiray said.
She also denied courting stage with the Model-turned actor.
“Hindi, walang ganun. I mean, we’re just good friends,” she explained.
“Kung ano kami, masaya kami, and hindi parang umaarte para sa mga tao. Like, pag nakikita mo kaming magkasama, kasi gusto namin magkasama, hindi dahil para sa mga tao,” she emphasized.
Kiray also reacted on the issue doubting Kirst’s sexuality.
“Alam mo, si Kirst, kasi siya yung taong sobrang friendly. Hindi yan namimili, bakla, tomboy, lalaki o babae. Sobrang friendly niya,” she stated.
According to Kiray, Kirst being ‘too friendly’ sometimes causes disagreement between them.
“Minsan nagaaway kami palagi kasi sobrang friendly niya, hindi na tama. Kahit kanino, hindi siya namimili ng kaibigan. Kaya siguro kapag may kasama siyang bakla, iniisip na ganun din siya,” she explained.
