MMFF 2017 Best Actor Derek Ramsay talked about his son, Austin.

The 41-year old actor has one condition before allowing his son to enter showbiz.
In an interview of MMFF 2017 Best Actor, Derek Ramsay on late night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” he talked about his son, Austin. The 41-year old actor said that his son is grown up now and mentioned some his body changes due to puberty.
“He’s grown up, it’s so fast. Last time he was here, think he was just five inches,” he said.
“And now, his voice is beginning to drop, growing a little bit of mustache. But its so wonderful to see and I’ve been looking forward to this day,” he added.
Derek also shared that they will be having a trip to Palawan.
“We have a trip to Palawan and he is really excited to go to Palawan,” he said.
TV host Boy Abunda asked Derek if he will allow his son to enter the showbiz. “I would be like, ‘Okay, if thats you want to do, I’ll support you,” Derek answered.
However, Derek wanted his son to finish school first before going to showbiz.
“But finish school. I finished school before I come here. So if you wanna do that, finish school,” he said.
