2017 is the year for Xian Lim!
The Kapamilya actor recently bagged his first acting award in the recently concluded PMPC Star Awards for Movies 2017. He won the Best Supporting Actor trophy on his performance in 2016 Star Cinema movie, “Everything About Her.”
Xian admitted that his first acting award helped him realized the love for his craft.
“Kasi no’ng 2016, ang dami kong questions eh. Parang ano nga ba talaga? Parang you do this type of project pero you don’t know if you’re getting recognized. Hindi ko alam kung tama ba ‘yung ginagawa ko at that time. Pero ngayong 2017, I think no’ng nabigyan po ako ng recognition (sa acting), I think that’s one of the highlights talaga. Marami naman pong nangyari, concerts and different projects pero no’ng nabigyan po ako ng recognition sa acting, ‘yung dinadala ko na pagkabigat-bigat ay parang nabawasan dahil do’n,” he said.
This 2018, Xian said that his fans should expect more projects that would validate him as an actor and singer.
“I think sa 2018, I want to be able to do more projects and keep on proving myself na I got what it takes kumbaga, I will just keep on doing what makes me happy,” he explained.
Xian also shared some details on his upcoming movie this 2018. However, some information like the cast and story remained confidential. He revealed that the film will feature a sexier side of him as he set to showcase his toned body.
“Nagawa ko na naman siya no’ng time ng The Story of Us. Hindi naman na ako bago sa gano’n at saka meron pong element ng tubig dito sa pelikula. Medyo kailangan lang talaga,” he said.
Meanwhile, rumors spread like fire that Xian is planning to transfer to Kapuso Network after his contract with ABS-CBN.
