GMA SVP for Entertainment pointed out that the network is happy with the Telebabad’s great performance.

GMA prime time released shows this year that gained a huge following.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable noted that the network felt very happy with the Telebabad’s strong performance in 2017.
Lilybeth also specifically mentioned that Marian’s Super Ma’am and Heart Evangelista’s My Korean Jagiya that gained a huge amount of viewers. She also took pride in bringing Korean actors Alexander Lee and Andy Ryu to the Philippine small screen.
Alexander played as Kim Jun-ho while Andy played Lee Gong-woo.
Lilybeth also shared that GMA Telebabad released many good shows such as the return of Alyas Robin Hood and the return of Marian on the small screen.
“Ang dami naming magagandang shows na nilabas and on prime-time, we had the return of Alyas Robin Hood, and of course, we’re also happy yung pagbabalik ni Marian sa Super Ma’am.”
Then, she added how Marian got great reviews for action-filled series.
“I think she’s getting good reviews for it kasi ang galing naman talaga niya sa action.”
Moreover, Lilybeth also relayed that Marian in action tends to gain huge positive feedback. Like in 2009, Marian top-billed as Darna which earned high ratings.
“She’s still yung Darna namin noon and maganda yung example na pinapakita niya as a teacher, so we’re happy with that.”
