It’s always nice to have someone beside you during times of troubles. A shoulder to cry on, arms to embrace, and an ear to listen. That is how James Reid treated his on-screen and real-life partner Nadine Lustre when she lost her dear brother last October.
During their press conference for upcoming much-awaited concert “Revolution,” James Reid and Nadine Lustre shared how they coped with each other through ups and downs.
Ever since her younger brother, Isaiah, died of suicide, Nadine became the public’s apple of the eye. Because of this, she needed to look strong to reflect her family and her feelings. James, being the loving boyfriend that he is, stood by her side throughout the tragedy and became her support system.
“I could tell sometimes especially because she’s a public icon, she’s trying to be strong and hold back her emotions and say ‘I’m okay’ even though I could tell that she wasn’t,” he shared. “I was telling her it’s okay, it really helps to just let it out because for so long she tried to cry all the tears back for everyone else.”
Star-studded major concert
“Revolution” will feature various talented artists in the local music industry aside from JaDine. They will have guest performers such as Sarah Geronimo, Sam Concepcion, Kiana Valenciano, Bret Jackson, and the box-office star Vice Ganda.
Through this concert, James and Nadine will be able to showcase their passion for music and their impeccable chemistry on stage.
