- James Reid and Nadine Lustre to join forces on “JaDine Revolution” concert
Love will rule this 2018 for on-screen and real-life couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine) as they are expected to kick off the year loudly! The two are all-set for their second major concert entitled “Revolution,” next month at the Big Dome.
As most people have observed, JaDine seemed to lay low last year. Aside from their daily hosting in ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime,” James and Nadine didn’t work on major TV projects.
During their media press conference at Le Reve in Quezon City last Friday, the couple shared what kept their busy in 2017.
James shared that, “Last year we did tours, American tour and Europe. I was really focused on my album, something I really wanted to release. It took me so long to finish because I wasn’t sure if I was ready.”
“We wanted a more relaxed year,” he added.
To wide acclaim, James’ released his album “Palm Dreams,” which showcased his growth as a singer and debuted his songwriting. He also put up his own music label,”Careless Music Manila,” that earlier produced one track in Nadine’s upcoming album this year.
According to Nadine, they focused on pursuing their passion for music. This is the reason why they chose to minimize show in the spotlight. Above all of these, Nadine also went through difficult times when her younger brother passed away.
Despite what happened between their relationship and career last year, JaDine will take 2018 aggressively. “Revolution” will pave the way for them to express their talents in music and performing. They will also take on the road in the summer for a provincial tour in April and a series of shows in the US in May.
As for their TV and film presence, James and Nadine will take on the big screen soon on “Never Not Love You.” They will also take on projects individually to fully showcase their potential as artists in the industry.
“I think it was really time to start doing our own thing. We’ve grown so much as a love team,” James said. “We’re really versatile.”
James is set to do a remake of hit Korean comedy “The Granny” with Sarah Geronimo and start shooting action-fantasy epic “Pedro Penduko.” Nadine will also branch out on two movie projects this year: “The Nurse” and “Ulan.”
