For a year now, the former Kapamilya comedian Archie Alemania has been working with GMA Network. He starred in various telseryes like “D’ Originals,” and “Calle Siete” and other shows like “Bubble Gang” “Tadhana,” “Wagas,” and Magpakailaman.”
In an interview with PEP.ph, Archie compared his working experience with the two biggest network in the country, ABS-CBN and GMA Network.
“Sa kabila kasi, mas takot ang mga artista sa mga staff. Dito parang mas takot ang staff kaysa sa mga artista. Doon kasi, paano ba? Parang sabihin kaagad, kikilos kaagad ang mga artista sa kabila, e,” he explained.
“Dito kasi may feel na parang homey-homey, yung feeling na parang relax lang, hindi pressured. Doon kasi parang tarantahan, e,” he added.
The 39-year old comedian was asked if there was competition among his fellow comedy actors in his previous network.
“Dito kasi, yung sa akin, ha, wala yun sa karakter ko na same as Archie. Yung kaya ba nilang gawin yung kaya kong gawin? Wala. Sa kabila, ang dami namin, nandiyan si Janus [Del Prado], kapareho ko yun. Kapag kasi may pinagpipilian—Janus, Ketchup [Eusebio], may dalawa pang artista na pagpipilian ’tapos ako,” he explained.
“Dito parang wala pa akong na-encounter na ilang kaming pinipinili sa character,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Archie is set to star on daytime rom-series “Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw” alongside Camille Prats, Neil Ryan Sese, Ayra Mariano and Bruno Gabriel.
