- Star Cinema offered Kris Aquino a new project

Kris Aquino was spotted on ABS-CBN grounds and attended a meeting with Team KCA and President/CEO ng Cornerstone Management Erickson Raymundo in Star Cinema.
According to Balita.net’s source, the meeting happened on March 21, 2018, and chanced briefly since they only asked if Kris can work on a movie with Star Cinema. It was confirmed recently on Kris’ blog that Star Cinema really did offer her a new project.

Just this January, Kris mentioned that she will not be returning to the television soon. She is happy working alone and has a lot of business deals and endorsements already lined up. Leaving the television opened several windows of opportunities for Kris.
“Kaya naniniwala talaga ako na, when a door is closed, something else opens talaga. And totoo naman talaga. Sabi ko, I would have really felt so awful kung ‘yun ‘yung nawala, Kasi ‘yun ‘yung ‘pinundar ko — based on your credibility, believability and likeability mo, diba? Kaya ka nga kinukuha, eh,” was her January statement.
Based on this statement, it seems like Kris is already slowly closing the door on returning to television and focus more on her personal life and independent business opportunities.
However, she clarified that she will not be closing the door to Cory Vidanes and promises to stay in touch with ABS-CBN’s Chief Operating Officer.
There is still no final information on what was discussed and what kind of offer Star Cinema gave Kris. She is currently in the U.S. and busy with her personal agendas. Kris is expected to return to the Philippines after the Holy Week and we are hoping to hear her statement by then.
Meanwhile, Kris was also rumored to be part of the first Pinoy horror movie on iFlix.
