Kris Aquino movie on iFlix with Barbie Forteza still uncertain

Barbie Forteza is fond of impersonating Kris Aquino that ultimately caught the attention of the queen of horror movies. Barbie and Kris met during the “My Little Bossing” movie set.

Apparently, Kris once gave a negative feedback to Barbie regarding the impersonation in a Sunday Pinasaya episode. Barbie said she has already moved on and Kris is now willing to work with Barbie in a movie project.

“They said ako raw ang request niya.” Barbie exclaimed and jokingly added, “Hindi ko alam kung papagalitan niya ako or ano ba!” The young actress is very thankful that Kris considered her to be part of Kris’ movie.

However, there is no official statement yet regarding the final list of movie casts.

Barbie Forteza and Kris Aquino still unconfirmed according to iFlix

iFlix will be the producer of the movie. Direk Adolf said that iFlix is still busy with the pre-production preparation and setting up the taping schedule. If everything goes smoothly, shooting will commence in May or June.

Kris commented on the rumor that she will be working with Barbie and shared her thoughts on the possibility. “iFlix hasn’t confirmed with me that it is Barbie, but she was in the short list of young actresses I want to share the screen with what I had given to iFlix & Direk Adolf,” says Kris.

iFlix is also looking at other options that will be a perfect tandem with Kris in a horror movie like Miles Ocampo. For now, there are no official details of the said project.



Barbie Forteza has an upcoming movie with her loveteam Derrick Monasterio. The movie was shot in Salento, Italy and titled “Almost A Love Story” by Regal Films. The movie will open in cinemas nationwide on April 11.
