Angel Locsin will soon star in The General’s Daughter for ABS-CBN Corporation. The said series will also star Diamond Star Maricel Soriano. La Luna Sangre became Angel’s last drama-action television series in 2017. It also served as the last series for the Moonstone trilogy. La Luna Sangre also starred her former onscreen partner and ex-boyfriend Richard Gutierrez.
Rumors suggest that The General’s Daughter will replace Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano once it reaches its finale.
The said series will serve as Angel’s 5th full length television series since she joined ABS-CBN in 2008. This led others to tag her as the “Queen of Action-Drama Series.” Angel also starred in Mulawin, Darna, Majika, Lobo, Imortal, a cameo appearance on Mulawin vs. Ravena and La Luna Sangre.
In an Instagram fan page, they had edited and posted a photo of Angel. The said post also indicated that Angel will soon be back for a primetime series.
