A few months ago, a Twitter war had occurred between Barbie Imperial’s rumored boyfriend Paul Salas and Daniel Padilla. In a recent interview with PUSH.com, Barbie spoke up about the issue that caused a feud between fans of both parties.
However, she denied on being involved in the said issue.
In the said interview, Barbie also added that Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel didn’t involve her in the issue.
“Hindi po kasi ako kasali dun. I mean kung nagkaproblem man sila, hindi po ako kasali at hindi po ako sinali ng KathNiel.”
Although, Barbie admitted that at the time, she favored Paul as she knew him better. She also shared that at the time of their shooting of La Luna Sangre, Kathryn and Daniel never made her feel bad.
“Oo naman. Kasi kilala ko naman si Paul as a person. Pero ang nakakatuwa po nun kasi nasa La Luna po ako nung time na ‘yun. Si DJ, si Kath never po nilang pinaramdam na may nangyaring ganun.”
Rumors suggested that Barbie had a rift with the real-life couple. This rift also allegedly led to her character’s demise in La Luna Sangre. However, Barbie denied the said rift and admitted that her character just needed to die.
“Hindi po. Kailangan na lang talagang patayin ang character.”
Barbie also shared that she currently has a good and proper relationship with KathNiel.
“Sobrang okay po kami ng KathNiel. Kasi sa set nga po naglalaro pa kami ng Mobile Legends, kami-kami. So okay po. Super okay.”
