Korina Sanchez recently featured James Yap and his new family in ABS-CBN show Rated K. Kris Aquino without naming Korina herself expressed her disappointment and hurt on seeing the said feature. She also mentioned that she risked big time on campaigning for Mar Roxas.
Ogie Diaz, then, took to his Facebook account to express his thoughts on the matter.
Ogie also felt that there wasn’t anything wrong with the feature. However, he understood Kris’ feelings on defending her son, Bimby, against his own father, James.
Although he understood her, Ogie didn’t agree on Kris admonishing Korina on campaigning Mars. Ogie advised Kris not to go overboard when expressing her feelings.
Ogie wrote what Kris might have felt on the said Facebook post. Kris and Korina already had an issue in the past, however, this feature may have made Kris felt that Korina is having her little revenge on her. Kris also mentioned that she campaigned for Mars and Korina shouldn’t have done this.
“Wala akong nakitang mali sa feature ng Rated K kay James Yap at sa bagong family nito.
Ang nakapagpainit ng bungo ni Kris ay yung matagal na silang may isyu ni Korina Sanchez at feeling ni Kris ay nananadya o gumaganti si Ate Koring by having her ex-husband interviewed on Rated K.
Kaya ayun. May sumbatan nang naganap. Na ikinampanya ni Kris si Mar Roxas noong tumakbo itong Presidente hindi dahil gusto niya ito, kundi ipinakiusap ng kanyang kapatid na si Noynoy at wala siyang hininging kapalit.”
Ogie disagrees on Kris bringing back the issues of the past. However, he would understand Kris’ sentiments if Mars won the presidential campaign. He also continued to cite examples of comments from Kris’ post.
“Pero hindi na niya dapat pang ibinalik ang nakaraan. Mas maiintindihan ko siguro siya kung nanalo si Mar Roxas at doon siya nag-emote.
Tuloy may nabasa akong comment na, “Eh, baka nga kaya natalo si Mar, dahil si Kris ang nag-campaign.”
Isa pang nabasa ko, “Gusto pala niya talaga si Duterte, ba’t di niya sinusunod ang puso niya noon? Ngayon siya mag-e-emote nang ganyan eh paano kung si Mar nga ang nanalo, ganyan pa rin kaya ang statement niya?”
Sumasagot din si Kris sa mga comments sa ilalim ng kanyang palabang post, kaya andami niyang oras mag-reply sa mga comments ng netizens.”
Ogie noted a netizen’s point that Kris may have just made her comeback to ABS-CBN’s film outfit, Star Cinema, felt. Another netizen remarked that Kris may not like seeing James in a happy married life. Ogie stressed that Kris will be the only person to know why she doesn’t like seeing James in the said Rated K feature.

Ogie noted Kris has a lot of supporters as she remains to be true and honest. He wrote that he understood Kris on defending her son against his own father. In an earlier report, Kris slammed James on his pretentious birthday greeting to Bimby on Instagram.
In the said post, James wrote how much he misses Bimby and apologizes on not seeing him that much. However, Kris revealed the reason why James didn’t want to visit Bimby. She also confessed what Bimby felt when his own father didn’t defend him and agreed on gay rumors against the 11-year-old.
“She may be tactless at times, pero marami din ang humahanga sa kanyang pagiging honest at totoong tao, kaya ‘yung ibang netizens talaga, lalo pang pinu-push si Kris to rant more.
Pero ‘yung totoo, nasaktan lang talaga ang lola n’yo sa feature kay James ng Rated K. ‘Ika nga, alam ng kalaban kung saan siya titirahin.
Una sa lahat, naiintindihan ko si Kris where she is coming from. Naiintindihan ko rin siya sa punto niyang walang ibang unang-unang magtatanggol sa kanyang anak, kungdi siya mismo.”
Ogie advised Kris not to go overboard on expressing her hurt. He also shared that if Kris and Korina have a personal issue, they shouldn’t involve James and his new family on the matter and Kris shouldn’t have prioritized her anger.
Ogie also hoped that Kris took it to prayers first just like she usually did. He wished that Kris let her heart rest from all the anger and hurt from the past. He also would commend Kris if she took the issues to prayers first, smile and let love win the issue.
“Pero don’t go overboard, Mareng Kris. Walang umaapi sa ‘yo. Kung may personal man kayong away ni Korina, walang kinalaman ‘yung na-feature tungkol kay James at sa mag-ina niya.
