Mark Bautista shares how his life changed after bravely revealing that he is indeed bisexual. He admitted his gender orientation in his autobiography “Beyond the Mark” released last February 2018.
“So far okay naman ‘yung pagtanggap ng mga tao. Siyempre hindi ko naman ma-please lahat, maraming iba’t ibang reaksyon, but now nalagpasan ko na siya,” he shared.
The singer said that he received more positive feedback, “Wala na nagsasabi ng negative sa akin, ‘yung first lang na lumabas but after ‘nun, baka nabasa na nila na malinis naman ‘yung intensyon ko for the book.”
He is also proud that many people messaged him that the book helped them and took it as an inspiration. “I want to thank everyone na sumuporta, especially sa book at sa akin na after all these years, 15 years in the industry,” he added.
Mark Bautista also admitted that he is currently single, but not rushing for a relationship. The important thing for him is that he already revealed himself.
He considers self-acceptance as his newest milestone.
