GMA News TV recently launched Me and My Town, the newest magazine and travel show which aims to promote the unique charm of cities and towns in the Philippines by featuring its tourist attractions, food, culture and the arts.
Aside from the experiences and perspective of the host, Me and My Town offers an exciting twist! The show will be featuring a prominent personality who is a native of the place to tour and take the viewers on a different adventure and discovery.
Hosted by veteran broadcast journalist, Kathy San Gabriel, Me and My Town sets to empower Filipinos as love for one’s town takes center stage, providing information and learning that can be replicated and aspired with amicable disposition and appreciation.
Me and My Town’s pilot episode on August 12th, Sunday, 9:30 am, featured the modern and historic city of Imus, Cavite. Congressman Alex “AA” Advincula took the viewers from the historic site of “Battle of Imus” to the newly constructed hospital and schools. Through the tour, Cong. AA showed how his vision of the city has come to life with his projects and infrastructure programs.
Me and My Town airs every Sunday, 9:30 am on GMA News TV channel 11.
