Mikee Quintos didn’t expect that her career would take off quite fast. After she starred in the 2016 version of Encantadia, Mikee was given a lead role in Sirkus. She appears next in the Kapuso drama series Onanay with no less than Nora Aunor and Cherie Gil.
Her career, so far
It has so far been an amazing journey for the comely Kapuso young star.
“Sobra po. Sobrang bilis!” exclaimed Mikee.
Mikee credits God for all the opportunities and blessings that come her way. Being an artista was something that she had prayed for.
“First of all, I am really blessed. From the beginning naman po ‘yun ang lagi kong sinasabi sa sarili ko. Pumasok naman ako ng showbiz dahil nag-pray naman ako kay God.”
God’s plans for her
Mikee made a pact with God to lead her to a place where she would be happy. And for every difficult decision she has had to make, she consulted it to the Lord.
“Sabi ko, kung ito po ang plano niyo sa akin, sana doon ako mapunta. Huwag akong mabulag sa kung saan niya ako gustong dalhin. And every decision na mahirap, ‘yan, ‘yung school, lahat po gusto kong ino-offer lang sa kanya kesa ma-stress or ma-sad ako.”
Mikee added that God keeps her grounded.
“Parang he keeps me really grounded! If you offer to him everything that you do, he will take you to great places na hindi mo ini-expect na mapupuntahan mo.”
