Bruno Gabriel’s photos seemingly looking at male swimwear contestants’ crotches went viral. Along with it came speculations that the Kapuso artist might be gay.
The actor actually finds the speculations funny.
He commented, “Well, that’s funny. I think it’s funny!
“The photos that you saw, actually, I found them funny when I first saw them. Parang, I have to act, like, I’m offended, but I’m actually not.”
The photos were taken when he hosted the Mister Grand Philippines 2018 event.
“What’s funny here is actually… is that, after looking at the number for the second time, na-realize ko na parang, ‘Well, there’s a lot of cameras here, somebody’s gonna take this out of context.’
“And true enough, around three days later, it did. And I was, like, ‘Yup, there you go.’”
To set the record straight, Bruno clarified that he is straight.
“I’m heterosexual. Pero, I do support LGBTQ. I’m a straight guy, that’s it.”
Bruno Gabriel is part of the cast of My Special Tatay where he plays the half-brother of Ken Chan.
