Maricris Garcia celebrated her 11th year in showbiz and the music industry. Finally, she was granted a solo concert.
She explained that the reason behind the belated concert is that she was more focused on her personal life.
“Ngayon, tama lahat eh. Umayon lahat so ito ‘yung itinadhana ni Lord na tamang panahon para gawin ‘to,” she said.
The singer hopes that this concert will just be the first of many concerts in the future. And with it, she is committed to fulfilling her dream to reunite the “La Diva” female group.
Weeks before the concert, Maricris reached out to her co-La Diva members namely Jona Viray and Aicelle Santos and invited them to guest in her concert. Sadly, they had to turn down her invitation due to their busy schedules.
Maricris was saddened to hear the news. She said, “Nakaka-miss talaga. Lagi ko ngang sinasabi noon, ‘pag nag-concert ako, gusto ko meron isang prod na kumpleto kaming tatlo.
“Sabi ko, siguro iyak ako nang iyak ‘pag nangyari ‘yun.”
He first solo concert is titled “Mar1cr1s” which is also dubbed as her 11th-anniversary concert last September 28 at the Teatrino, Greenhills.
