- Keempee de Leon is now a Kapamilya.
- His career was idle in GMA Network since he was kicked out from “Eat Bulaga.”
- The host is still clueless why “Eat Bulaga” rejected his request to return.
Keempee de Leon is still clueless until now why he was kicked out as host from “Eat Bulaga” in 2016. The host’s career has been idle since then.
Keempee is the son of Joey de Leon and was asked to be part of the GMA Network series “Little Nanay.” Thus, he asked for a leave from “Eat Bulaga” while the series is ongoing.
When “Little Nanay” concluded, he told “Eat Bulaga” that he can now return as host. The noontime show’s production told him to wait for their signal to return.
Days, weeks, and years passed and it seems the production has forgotten Keempee’s request to return.
Keempee was desperate to return to the show but even Vic Sotto, his father Joey, and the CEO himself won’t give him a clear answer and seems to be avoiding the issue.
He was a host in “Eat Bulaga” for thirteen long years and he can’t figure out why the production would kick him out without reason.
Keempee underwent depression since then. Thankfully, he found a glimpse of hope in reviving his career when a project was proposed to him by ABS-CBN. He accepted it without second thoughts.
“Thank You Lord for the wonderful blessing. Thank you Direk Ruel Bayani and ABS-CBN,” he wrote on social media.
He will soon form part of the Kapamilya series “Nang Ngumiti ang Langit” to be directed by Ruel Bayani.
Since his hosting experience is still topnotch, Keempee De Leon might be invited to guest in the ABS-CBN noontime variety show “It’s Showtime.”
