ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, is giving Filipino entrepreneurs an exclusive chance to pitch a business concept to venture capitalist and entrepreneurial guru Kevin O’ Leary.
The billionaire business magnate and entrepreneur famously known as “Mr. Wonderful” in the award-winning business-themed program “Shark Tank” is bringing his business smarts and signature no-nonsense approach to mentorship to Manila for the latest leg of the ANC Leadership Series at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila on November 12.
All ticket buyers can submit a business concept for a chance to win a one-on-one meeting with Mr. Wonderful himself on the same day of the Leadership Series, as well as a segment feature of their brand on ANC’s business-oriented program “Shoptalk.”
To enter, ticket buyers must submit a 100-word business concept essay outlining a business proposal, or an idea to scale up their existing business. The entry must also indicate how much capital they need to make the project a reality, and what the owner is willing to surrender in exchange for the needed capital. Those interested can join the contest and submit their entries on the event microsite, kevinolearyonanc.com.
The promotion is open to all ticket buyers of the O’Leary Forum, aged 18 years or older, must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines for at least six (6) months prior to September 14, 2018, or with capability to travel to attend the event.
The deadline for the submission of entries is on 11:59 pm of November 5, 2018.
Before “Mr. Wonderful,” ANC also brought to the Philippines Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, former US secretary of state Madeleine Albright, sports and entertainment mogul Peter Guber, and leadership guru Stephen M.R. Covey for the ANC Leadership Series, which is part of the country’s premier all-English cable news channel’s efforts to raise the level of discourse on global affairs and business issues in the country.
