Toni Gonzaga Comments On Alex’s Booming Vlogging Career
On her recent interview at Tonight With Boy Abunda, Toni Gonzaga shared how happy she is for her sister, Alex Gonzaga, on her booming vlogging career.
“She finally found her niche. I’m the happiest”
The actress-host also shared the comparison issue that Alex has been going through since she entered the showbiz industry.
“Baka magalit siya sa akin I will share it with you. She consulted a life coach. She had some issues because people would always perceive her as someone who is trying to be me. ‘Ikaw maingay ka sa TV pero tahimik ka sa personal. Ako, maingay ako on and off cam pero ang tingin nila sa akin, ginagaya kita.”
According to Toni, things changed when Alex started her Vlogging career. She revealed that it was the girlfriend of Paul Soriano’s brother who gave Alex an idea to look for other “outlet” to share her true self.
“And that’s when the vlogging came in. It was just really to do something for herself. Kasi she feels like she’s so restricted on television, which is true because we play certain roles when we host. We cannot say all of these things. We have to follow a certain script and all that. And my sister is unscripted. So nag-work sa kanya ‘yung vlogging,”
Toni Gonzaga is currently hosting the 8th season of ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother – “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso”.
